Time For A Change
About every 10-15 years I tend to make a big change in life. It’s that time again. Back in 2002 I got laid off from my job working for Autodesk as a developer support specialist for AutoCAD. At that time I decided to change careers and take my hobby of photography and do it full time. Since I didn’t have a job I took a road trip. I jumped in my truck with a tent and my camera and drove up the coast of California into Oregon and Washington. I took photos along the way and camped out. I eventually ended up in Las Vegas, NV in 2005 and planted roots and started a studio based photography business. Now it’s time for a change again. That trip I took in 2002 was one of the best times I’ve ever had and now I want to do that again on a much bigger scale.
My Goal
I have a goal of taking my photography and video business on the road, camping anywhere and everywhere and documenting my outdoor life on the road. I've always been a fan of camping but haven't done much of it lately because of life and work getting in the way. Now I'm making it my primary goal to got out in nature as much as possible and eventually live life on the road permenantly. My plan is to document my journey and overland life on the road here so be sure to bookmark this website.
Start With What You Have
Over this next year (date of this writing 3/2020) I will start getting ready, gathering funds and gearing up. For starters I will use what I have right now which is my old 1995 GMC Truck. I'll start doing local camping trips in the Southern Nevada area. Eventually, I want my goal is to get a Jeep (I've always wanted one) and travel anywhere and everywhere it will take me.

About Me
I started my photography business here in Las Vegas in 2005. I'm tired of being tied down to one place and I always say I want to travel and never do anything about it. Now I'm doing something about it! I've already transitioned my business to be a mobile business. I don't have a physical studio anymore. I go to my clients homes and ofices or take them outdoors. Now I will start doing something I've not dont before which is more nature, landscape, sky, startrails, and documentary photography and video.
